17343 MYLES - Rtd S/Sgt Robert Edward MYLES died May 30, 2010 at his home in Delta B.C.  Bob served from 1951 to 1978 in 'F' & 'E' Divs retiring from Security Service in Vancouver.  He was then i/c security for Booth's Drug Stores.  His son, 39351 Stephen Myles, joined the Force in 1987
14301 BLIGH - Rtd S/Sgt Gordon BLIGH died August 5, 2010 at Winnipeg.  He served from 1941 to 1966 in 'K' Div, retiring as Section NCO, Edmonton Sub Division
19186 CLUBB - Rtd S/Sgt Douglas George CLUBB died June 11, 2010 at Pakenham, Ont.  He served from 1955 to 1990 in 'K' 'HQ' Depot & 'HQ'
22943 WINCH - former Cst Albert Keith WINCH died July 4, 2010 at Vanderhoof, B.C.  He served from 1963 to 1974 in 'E' Div and left the Force from Crime Index Section
22671 COWELL - former Cst Allen Richard COWELL died June 7, 2010 at Windsor, Ont.  He served from 1962 to 1972 in the Band
17967 LELAND - Rtd Sgt Murray I. LELAND died July 26, 2010 at Fredericton, N.B.  He served from 1952 to 1978 in 'A' 'HQ' Depot & 'J' Divs
28596 SMITH - former Cst David Gerrard SMITH died on July 30, 2010 at Oakville, Ont.  He served from 1970 to 1984 in 'E' & 'O' Divs then transferred to CSIS
15649 LEITCH - Rtd Sgt William Robert Cummings LEITCH died July 17, 2010 at Victoria, B.C.  He served from 1948 to 1969 in 'D' 'N' & Depot Divs
22601 SMALL - Retired S/Sgt. R.T. (Torry) SMALL.  Torry passed away on the morning of August 30th 2010, following a long fight with cancer.  There will be a 'Tribute to Torry' held at the Princeton Legion Hall on Sept. 5 at 2:00 pm  
C132 WATTS - New Brunswick Life Member  C132 George E. WATTS. George passed away suddenly at 1930 hours on Friday 27 Aug. 2010.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bishops Funeral Home in Fredericton, NB.
C/M GALLENGER - C/M J.J. (Joe) Gallenger. As many of you will remember, Joe was the Saddler at Depot for approximately 35 yrs. He retired approximately 15 - 17 yrs. ago. He was living alone and his daughter found him on Friday morning 20 Aug. Joe was approximately 85 yrs. young.
16837 REDDY - Laurence James (Larry) REDDY passed away on Sunday 1 August 2010 at 6:30 pm at home with his entire family by his side. Larry was 77. Larry joined the Force on 51-02-02 and retired on 78-04-15.  He served in "D" HQ "F" Divisions and retired from SS. Larry worked for Canada Customs as Regional Intelligence officer from 78-89 and then was the Manager of the Gift Shop at the RCMP Museum in Regina.

17967 LELAND - Rtd Member Murray LELAND who joined the Force in 52-11-17 and retired on 78-05-07. He served in "A", HQ, Depot and "J" Divisions.   Murray Irving Leland passed away on Monday, July 26th.  There will be no visitation, funeral or flowers.  Burial will take place later in St. George, N.B.  Online condolences and the sharing of memories may be expressed through www.bishopsfuneralhome.com.

15499 FRASER - Retired S/S/M Robert J. (Bob) Fraser in Surrey, B.C. on Tuesday, July 20th, 2010. Bob Fraser joined the RCMP in 1948 and after training was transferred to Dauphin Sub/Division in "D" Division.  He was subsequently transferred to Ottawa and became a member of the Special Branch and later CSIS.
15649 LEITCH - W.R.C.L. Leitch passed away in Victoria, BC July 17th at age 81. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM July 31st at St George the Martyr Anglican Church, 3909 St George Lane, Victoria. Condolences can be sent to 4030 Lockhaven Drive, Victoria, BC V8N 4J5
22642 WELLING - Ross P. WELLING passed away on April 14/2010 at Miramichi, NB from a heart attack. He joined the Force in June 1962 and was promoted to Cpl. in 1973.  It is unknown when he retired. Most if not all of his service was in "B" DivisionHe was buried in St Martin's of the Woods Cemetery in Shediac Cape, NB.
26317 MOLLINS - Eric Mollins passed away on July 1,2010.  He was born in Saint John, N.B. and joined the Force in 1967. Eric was stationed K,D,H & J Divs. Eric retired in 2001 after 34 years service. RCMP Veteran's Association have been a donation to the Animal Rescue League of Saint John. Eric became a member of the Forensic Identification Section of the Force and in this capacity he served in Truro, Port Hawkesbury and Moncton.
S0891 HOOPER - Harvey S. Hooper passed away on July 4, 2010.  Harvey was
seriously injured in a fishing weir accident 4 years ago and never completely recovered.  He was a member of NB Veterans Association.  Donations to the Animal Rescue League, Fundy Nursing Home or charity of persons choice.

STRONG - Sybil L. Strong. A lot of the old vets would remember Lionel Strong. He retired in Moncton in l958. His widow, Sybil L. Strong born l9l8, died at Sussex Corner on June 23, 20l0.

14768 SKAFTFELD - Glen K. SKAFTFELD passed away at Aylmer Ontario.  Date U/K.  ( Possibly June 2010 ) No further details are available at this time. Glen retired  65-01-04 and served in K O and Depot.

CAMPBELL - WIlliam (Bill) Campbell passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2010 in his 86th year. He was a serving member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 25 years retiring in 1971, and the same year joined Commonwealth Hospitality as Director of Security for Canada, the Caribbean and United Kingdom.

ROBINSON - Cst Chelsey Alice Robinson of Stony Plain Detachment in K Division. Cst. Robinson June 20, 2010 following a two-vehicle collision near Stony Plain. Cst. Robinson was patrolling for an impaired driver when her vehicle was struck by a truck as she crossed the highway.

20436 COOPER - Former Cst. Jim Cooper passed away at York Manor in Fredericton NB on June 12, 2010. He joined the Force in 58-04-09 and purchased shortly thereafter returning to Fredericton where he served with the Provincial Government for many years.

Most senior " J " Div. Veterans  would have known Mrs. Gallagher's late Husband, Bill.) Her daughter, Maureen Bennett, is an employee of the City of Moncton.

15912 MCALLISTER - Rtd S/Sgt. Arnold B McAllister died May 21 2010 at Toronto of Cancer.  Served 1949 to 1975 in 'F' 'O' 'B'  and 'O'Div. He was a life member of Toronto Div. Vets
22103 SHAW - Rtd Cpl Wallace D. SHAW died May 17, 2010 at Oshawa, Ont.  He served from 1961 to 1982 in 'O' Div
M9623 BOND -  former Marine Cst Ernest Augustus BOND died May 10, 2010 at Truro N.S.  He served from 1947 to 1948 in Marine Services
17019 RAYSON - former Cst Norman RAYSON died May 7, 2010 at Coquitlam, B.C.  He served 1951 to 1952 in 'A' Div then went on to a private investigation service at Regina
20572 WILSON - Rtd Cpl Wayne E. WILSON died May 4, 2010 of cancer at Regina, Sask.  He served from 1958 to 1993 in 'F' 'G' 'F' & Depot
27581 / O.1399 MARTIN - D/Cmmr Peter MARTIN (Rtd) died May 1, 2010 at Ottawa, Ont.  He died unexpectedly following surgery as a result of a stress fracture in his leg.  He served from  1969 in 'A' Div and then to the Canadian Police Information Centre 'HQ' (CPIC) Over the next 32 years he was in Informatics in “O” Div, “B” Div and in the Pacific Region. In 1998, he retired to take on the role of general manager of the Emergency  Communications for Southwestern British Columbia (E-com) project. In 2001, Peter returned to the RCMP as the Director of Informatics and then as the Chief Information Officer. In 2004 he was appointed as Deputy Commissioner of National Police Services (NPS).   In 2008, he was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer. He retired on April 12, 2010.  His brother, 32327 Cst Chris Martin, served from 1975 to 2005 and a second brother, 42156 S/Sgt Andrew Martin, currently serves in 'E' Div
17878 LOVERING - former Cst James Miller LOVERING died May 1, 2010 at Victoria, B.C.  He served from 1952 to 1955 in 'A' & 'F' Divs, then left to the RCAF Security.  He had suffered M.S. for the past 40 years
