Sick Bay:

2010-08-11 SULEY - It's been 7 months since Eric had the seizure. He has been to Neurologists and Radiologists and they all feel there is concern but 3 Cat Scans and 3 MRI's, an angiogram and numerous blood tests and many different drugs have proved inconclusive.  Eric's GP said the seizure could have been a "one time thing" however the latest neurologist has scheduled another MRI in a couple of weeks. Eric says he is feeling well but frustrated that this is taking so long as I can well imagine.

KIRK - UPDATE 2010-09-04 Just wanted you to let the troops know I got home from Hospital yesterday. I'm weak and need everyone's prayers. I have 4 more rounds of Chemo and then some radiation.
UPDATE 2010-08-11 - Basil would appreciate visitors now.   Check at the Adm office when you go to the DECH for directions. He has had two courses of chemotherapy and his wife Caroline is pretty well there 24/7.
Vet Basil KIRK is in the DECH at Fredericton -He has been in the hospital for over a week and he has been diagnosed with cancer.  Even though he is upbeat and in good spirits he has asked that fellow vets refrain from visiting him at this time.  As of this Thursday, he will commence larger than normal doses of chemotherapy.

CLARK - UPDATE - Sharon CLARK - "Just a quick email to let you know that I went to the oncologist this morning for the results of my bone scan. There are 3 more tumors in my ribs but the oncologist says they are mild.  They are changing my injection from aridia to zometo.  She also said that this is "kind of normal" whatever that means. I go back in July for another CTScan. Again thanks for all your thoughts and prayers and keep the prayers going for me. Sharon
